Music festivals in London this summer!

Summer is coming and so is the festivals season! Whereas Glastonbury was sold out before that the lineup was announced, you can still go to one of the festivals which occur in London! The capital’s parks will host many special guests such as Phil Collins, Green Day, Rag’n’Bone Man or Mac Miller ! Pop, rock or electro ? You will  find for sure what you’re looking for this summer!


British Summer Time

30th June to 9th July:

Barclaycard organizes the British Summer Time which takes place in Hyde Park and lasts 10 days. From Blondie to Martin Garrix, there is something for everyone’s taste! The Killers’ show is already sold-out on the 8th of July, but there are still many tickets for the other concerts. Let’s discover many artists such as Phil Collins, Green Day, Justin Bieber, Kings of Leon and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.

There will also be many free outdoors activities between the concerts (Monday 3rd, Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th and Friday 7th). Let’s enjoy outdoor movie nights, tennis screenings live from Wimbledon, street food stalls and pop-up bars!


Greenwich Music Time

From 30th June to 7th July:

This year is the 4th occasion the Greenwich Music Time has been held. The concerts will take place on the grass of the Old Royal Naval College, which is an amazing british monument designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cliff Richard, Alexander O’Neal, The Jacksons and Little Mix will produce there this summer.

From 7th to 9th July:

The Wireless festival has been created in 2005 and is owned and managed by Live Nation. Before being organized in Finsbury Park, it took place in Hyde Park and the Olympic Park. Big names in music performed at the Wireless, such as Moby, Keane, Depeche Mode, Pharrell Williams, Daft Punk, Jay-Z, P!nk, Drake, Rihanna, Bruno Mars. This year, the headliners are Chance The Rapper, Skepta and The Weeknd (the complete lineup is to be found here).

14-15 July:

The Lovebox festival has been created in 2002 by the DJ Groove Amanda and takes place in Victoria Park since 2005. For this new occasion, let’s dance to the sound of Franck Ocean, Rag’n’Bone Man, Mac Miller, Jess Glynne and many more!

Citadel Festival

Sunday 16th July:

Let’s discover Foals, Laura Marling, Wild Beasts, RY X and many more at the Citadel Festival! This festival has been held in 2015 for the first time and also takes place at Victoria Park. There are many activities such as workshops, debates, pop-up stores and places to eat and drink something.

Eastern Electrics

Saturday 5th August:

If you prefer House and Techno music, let’s head to Eastern Electrics at Morden Park on Saturday, the 5th of August! For its 6th year, this event will have special guests such as Carl Cox, Stream, Âme and many more (the complete lineup is to be found here).

South West Four

Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th August:

The meeting of electro’s fans will be at Clapham Common, at the South West Four festival which occurs during the August bank holiday week-end. Some of the greatest DJs in the world will be there such as Pendulum Live, DeadMau5, Tinie Tempah and Knife Party (the complete lineup is to be found here).

And what about volunteering?
