On a latino air

WHICH OF YOU would like to DRINK A DELICIOUS MOJITO ON THE BEACH listening to LATIN MUSIC ?

We found something better, in the middle of London ! Saddly without the beach, but with the mojitos and the music ! And… surprise… There are salsa and batachata lessons as well !

This wonderfull place has a name… It’s the Gabeto London in the Stables Market, famous market in Camden .

This bar-restaurant has a large  choice of  cocktails, especially mojitos, and latin flavors dishes. We let you have a look on the menus and judge by yourself !

After enjoying the Happy hour (from 4pm to 7:30pm) you can finally begin the dance lessons!

They are held every Wednesday and Friday at 7:30pm and on Sunday at 6:30pm.

How much is it ?

Several formulas :

  • 1 hour of salsa or batchata for 7£
  • 2 hours of salsa or batchata for 10£
  • 1 hour of each for 10£

In brief, one hour cost 7£ and for 3£ more you can dance two hours… A good excuse to extend this trip to Cuba!

Obviously, as you don’t all have the same level in danse, the classes are divided in two categories: beginner, et intermediate/avanced.

How the classes take place ?

The paiement will be directly at the bar to the teacher, in cash only.

After sipping your cocktail or glass of wine (maybe bottle if you are brave !), the lesson will start. Alone or accompanied, no importance! The partners are exchanged throughout the lesson; if you’re a loving couple and you don’t want to share your other half, exception can be made! But for others, it’s also a way to meet people!

The steps are first explained without music, with very attentive and opened to questions teachers . Then, once the technical part (more or less) assimilate, it’s time to exerce and enjoy on a latino air !

If you aren’t a big fan of dance or if you are the kind of person who prefer to check it out before trying, you can still accompany your friends and just watch the course, before taking the plunge! It’s also possible to eat or have a drink, the establishment is open to the public despite dance classes.

House London Trip has therefore tested for you, we couldn’t resist to the latin fever (and mojitos!), We had a great evening, and we are ready to start again soon with pleasure! We haven’t tested the dishes, we were too busy with mojitos … If you have the opportunity, don’t hesitate to let us know your opinion!

We leave you a taste of your next night out !
