Borough Market : paradise of the Gourmets


The borough Market is a big food market in central London. It is considered as the most famous in London.

You will find international products as well as British products.

The market offers a variety of fruits and  fresh vegetables, fishes and seafood, meat and poultry, cheese, olives, truffles, spices, sauces and condiments…

You will find there, head chef, cook and all the anthousiasts.

The detail market is open every Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 5pm. And the wholesale Market is open every morning of the week.

Get excited London : there is a three-day weekend ahead ! For this special occasion, Street Feast returns to Kingsland Road on May 1st for a summer-long stretch of night markets.

The tempting line-up of street food favourites includes flavour-packed Korean burritos from Kimchinary, delicate Taiwanese buns from Bao London, crisp fried chicken from Spit and Roast and juicy burgers from Mother Flipper, among many others.

If you can get there before 7pm as you’ll enjoy better this place, when it’s free, there’s no queue outside and it’s not too busy. The entry is £3 after 7pm and soon fills up – even if the yard is pretty big, with plenty of seating (but if you want to be sure of a seat to go with your dinner, the table service at one of the Dalston Yard Diners might appeal) and half covered over with a roof.

So many food stalls to choose from, all with nice compact menus and no less than four bars ! It’s a great place to try a variety of yummy new things all together while enjoying the east London buzz.



Sunday’s idea!

The Old Spitalfields Market (within 5 min walking distance from Liverpool Street station) is a huge market which offers an the impressive array of shops and stalls draws in shoppers from all over the South East.

On the first and third Friday of the month, a record fair joins the market, with an eclectic mix of different musical styles on offer, including rare and collectable vinyl.

This market is open every day of the week, do not hesitate to come over on sunday, when the market is at its best !



You don’t know what to do tonight ? Come over Haggerston Station to discover The Hawker House, a fancy night market !

This place allows you to taste the most famous londoners flavors and delicious dishes, in a hype vibe. Do no hesitate to meet up with your friends and family to share a good time around the big tables. Craft beer, hot cocktails and DJs will complement the three floors of food options.

But you have to be fast, The Hawker House will only be open for the 10 next weeks, and if you show up before 7pm, the entrance is free !
